Join Bluesmiths and Maui's Ocean Community as we paddle each May for the benefit of the island's children with special needs.

Since we launched Bluesmiths in 2012, we've been supporting . Paddle Imua is a downwind paddle race along Maui's famed north shore and it's fast becoming a landmark on the worldwide ocean sports calendar.

Athletes paddle the legendary ten mile Maliko Downwind Run which starts just East of Ho'okipa and ends in Kahului Harbor by the Hawaiian Canoe Club. It's a fast open water course. In fact, it's one of the best in the world and it's incredibly competitive. The top competitors in the world paddle out for the kids in this event,  to learn more.
